The following career options are available to you with a B.S. in biochemistry:
- Teachers and researchers in colleges and universities. Jobs are available as professors and researchers at colleges and universities in the areas of biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, neuroscience, biophysics and related disciplines.
- Medical doctors, dentists, pharmacists, genetic counselors, optometrists. A B.S. in biochemistry is excellent preparation for undertaking a professional degree in these areas.
